Social Media is a huge step in the blights of human suffering and injustice around the world. With most countries in which social media is necessary to get the real story out, there is a firm grip on the traditional media by government. Social Media helped Iran when the students were protesting and the military opened fire on them. The possibilites of SM proving useful to the rights of women is a powerful possibility. Force by the youth in their determination to have their voice be heard is necessary. Social Media will hopefully provide a nonviolent platform for this to occur.
