Wow... I had no idea that this was the reason the revolution in Tunisia happened! It's sad that the fruit vendor lost his life for simply trying to provide for his family. And I'm amazed at the major part facebook played too. I wonder if the revolution would have been as impactful without the use of facebook...

It is interesting how such a small thing as a slap from a woman or even a video on Facebook could start such a revolution among a group of people. Tunisia was always known as such a peaceful country. I also thought it was interesting when they talked of how the leaders in the Middle East dye their hair the color of what it was when they came in to power so that the people don't realize how long they have been in power.
