What I found most interesting about this article was that in Russia they revered Gannibal for being from Africa, but when they discovered there was a possibility that he was from Northern Cameroon as opposed to Christian Ethiopia they did not deem that as appropriate. nonetheless they honored their prized poet and his life story that brought him to Russia centuries ago.
