St. Augustine would have been proud of Algeria and, I think, in the spiritual world, he is frolicking with excitement: An enormous 19th century cathedral, Our Lady of Africa, has been renovated and re-opened with pomp and pageantry, in Algiers - a place with which St. Augustine would have been familiar. The cathedral is a magnificent symbol of
