"Ma Sisulu," as she was affectionately known, is the woman who, together with her husband Walter Sisulu, worked tirelessly against apartheid. She will be remembered as one of the matriarchs of the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa. She died at the age of 92. Below she celebrates her 91st birthday.
